My new roommates have covid.
Yep.
Tested positive last night.
Everyone in this house, except me, is sick.
I miss living alone.
I know that makes me sound selfish. I am in a lot of ways. I’m not afraid to admit that. Living alone was peaceful. I could do what I wanted when I wanted. I could walk around in my underwear. I never had to worry about someone coming home and making me sick.
You just got there and your roomies have COVID?!? Why do I feel like if there *were* a god they’d be saying, “She better not complain, I coulda thrown an asteroid at Canada”?!?

I hope they get better quickly. I hope you remain COVID free. A friend I was once very close to decades ago died 6/30 of complications from COVID. It took a couple of months to kill her. Get all your shots. I absolutely am in agreement about living by yourself. I so miss having my own home, decorating the way I want. Organizing the way I want. Walking around naked if I want. Selfish? Maybe. Do I give a fuck? Nope. I hope one day each of us gets the domestic situation we each desire. Take care.

I sure know what you mean. I’m surrounded by sickly folks. Every time I turn around some family member is in the hospital.

That’s not selfish – it’s reasonable.

Oh damn you have housemates now? Guess it makes sense. Well me of all people can understand housemate issues. Even in the best case it does impose limits to freedom. I guess the saving grace is you’re not yet having to live with family?

I found being homeless to be less stressful than living with family 😕. Or housemates.

It’s very hard to go back to having room mates. I sympathize.
